About Rainbow Bridge Images

Judee O'Leary was born some years ago in the UK before adventuring Down Under to Australia in 1974. A 35mm Pentax camera was thrust into her hands not long after arrival, followed by hours and hours wandering the back streets of Glebe, an old Sydney suburb, capturing black and white images of its unique character. Hours and hours were then spent in her dark room each night to develop the perfect picture.

A short break of 30 years ensued while Judee threw herself into other more philosophical and pressing matters until one day, with the kids launched, and inspired by her children she knew it was time to return to the visual world of photography.

Her purpose in framing the beauty she sees around her is to ignite excitement in the viewer - that spark of decision and insight into future possibility, that forgotten pleasure moment brought to life with its host of happy memories, that moment of recognition that the world is out there just waiting to be embraced. All you have to do is just jump on in!

The photos you see here are the results. Judee's passion for beautiful beaches makes Australia a natural playground, but equally, the magic of the Lake District, the spectacle of Africa, the vast array of Earth's natural wonders speak to her and beckon.
